2 Days Trek to Ha Giang Villages

Day 1 : Thon Tha – Lung Vai – Ha Thanh

Meet your guide at around 8 a.m at our coffee shop, The Coffee Travel or at your hotel. Then the bus will pick you up and drive you to Thon Tha Village. Then, we start our trek around the village through the terraced rice fields and through the Tay Villages. You will have the chance to meet and talk with locals working in the field. We will do the trek to Lùng Vai Village of the Coin Dao people (4hours trek) and then we will have a break for a picnic lunch en route or we can go to visit a Dao Family and enjoy a relaxing time there. The Dao Family will warmly welcome you to their traditional house where we will share and experience their culture. After that, we will continue the trek to Ha Thanh Village where it is famous for its waterfalls. We will stay overnight in a Tay Homestay in Thon Tha village.

Day 2: Thon Tha – Khuoi Mi – Thon Tha – Coffee Travel

At the first gleam of the daylight, you will see and hear the sounds of the morning village life. You can join them in some of their activities like feeding the animals, cleaning the houses, gardening or preparing for breakfast. After breakfast, we will complete our trek to a valley up to the mountain linking Thon Tha and Khuoi My. The guide will tell you some local stories and share the Dao Ao Dai unique culture which we can see in Khuoi My Village – home of about 200 Dao Ao Dai ethnic minority households, located at the foot of the highest mountain in Northeast Vietnam named “Mt. Tay Con Linh.” We will enjoy a picnic lunch en route or we can enjoy lunch with a local family.

Then after lunch, we can relax for a while and save our energy for the trek back to the national road/highway where our bus will pick us up. Then, back to the coffee shop.

End of the trip.

What’s included

Entrance fee, 2 lunches, one breakfasts, one dinners,, tour guide, one big bottle of mineral water per day.

What’s not included

Soft drinks, personal travel insurance, tips and other personal expenses.

What to bring and to wear

Comfortable clothes and shoes, sunscreen, mosquito repellent.
